Help Album Artwork in Music Player

Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has worked out how to update the album artwork for the stock music player on the SGS3? Kies doesn't sem to be much help for this.
I seem to remember my desire having an option to 'get missing artwork' but I can't find an equivalent on the SGS3 stock player.

Cheers
Liam

Cheers for the shout re cover art downloader. Just switched from apple world to samsung galaxy s3 and was getting frustrated with album art not syncing via easy phone sync. :D

If you want to prevent this in the future you can make sure all of your album art is embedded in the tags instead of being a separate image file.

Currently, I use Windows Media Player on my PC to download the album covers. On my old HTC Desire Z, I can just copy the files over and and all of the album covers appear. This is not the case for my SGS3. I find this annoying since I have to download the album covers twice; once on my PC and then again on my phone.

I would like to know if it is possible to download the covers only once. I'd like to know if you can do this with my set up as well.

So how does one do this on the PC when one has well over 100,000 mp3s and nearly half or more are missing album art. WMP makes this a tedious and time consuming task, and even then it still doesn't find all or the correct art all the time...

There is not going to be a perfect automated process to find album covers for your songs. I underwent a process to convert all of my LP's, cassettes and CD's to MP3. The CD's were easy as they did contain album cover information on them. For the LP's and cassettes, I had to manually find the album covers using WMP. Sometimes, WMP finds the correct album covers, but not always.

On my phone, I use the Cover Art Downloader app. It actually does a pretty good job at finding album covers for most of my songs. It is not perfect either, and I have to manually associate the correct cover art for some songs.

With both methods, it doesn't always work and there are some songs for which I cannot find the cover art.
