Help All audio drops after extended wake/sleep

hello everybody! i'm new to this forum so forgive me if I posted any repeat info. hope someone can help....

I have recently purchased the Samsung galaxy note 3 8.0, and I am liking it so far, but i'm running into a problem with the audio and wonder if anyone else has stumbled into the same thing. when my tablet sleeps and then wakes from an extended cycle (usually overnight) all of my audio just drops....gone!!! I go to the sound area and it still shows levels and it is not in mute, just gone! the only thing that I can end up doing is restarting the whole thing! it has become very frustrating. I have done factory resets at least 3 times but I still get the same result. it has been updated to the latest android version, 4.2.2. I've searched online, but nobody else seems to have this problem. i'm thinking it might be an app i'm running, but can seem to pinpoint it.

has anyone, someone, please anybody :) run into this at all?

I'm wondering if it is one of my apps that is causing this to happen. I actually had the Galaxy Tab 10.3 for a minute before I exchanged it with this one and I recall the same thing happening. It might be a bit tedious, but I might have to just start uninstalling a few things and checking it out day by day...unless someone might have an answer!

I have seen weird problems like yours caused by poorly programmed apps. If it were me, I'd do a factory reset again, then reinstall my apps one at a time, pausing for a day in between, to find the offending app.

I don't think the hardware, or operating system, is at fault here. I know it is a big hassle, but it's worth the effort.

Please post back what you find so others can learn which app is at fault.
