I can't unlock my Acclaim. When the phone rings, I can't answer it. I can't turn it off. It's like the touch screen is not working. I don't know if somehow it is locked or it's broken.

If the touch screen is not working properly, or at all, your best bet is going to be to take it in for repair or replacement if possible.

Have you tried pulling the battery out of the phone and then reseating it and turning the phone back on? This has solved issues that sound similiar to yours.
