Help All MMS messages (pics, videos and audio files) only play for 8 seconds and then exit.

All MMS messages are stuck in slideshow mode and only display the picture, play the video or play the audio for 8 seconds, then it kicks me back to the message list.


How can I either fix, or disable this?



It's really annoying. I have to save each video or audio file then use something like Astro File Manager to open the saved file in another viewer/player.

Searched all over for a solution. It just seems to be one of the many issues with HTC's buggy software.

My solution has been to use a different SMS client. Currently I'm using GO SMS with the dark theme and love it. The latest release is great.
Other than that ChompSMS is also very good. But I find GO SMS works better with SMS Popup, which I prefer to the build in pop-up options in any of the clients I've tried.
