Help All mp3 music apps not working, please help!

I have a Galaxy s6, and i cannot download any music anymore using the mp3 apps in the play store. I can download the apps just fine, but when i go to search for any artist/song, it says no results found. For every song. Every artist. I've tried about 16 different apps, including the ones that used to work for me just fine. In a couple other forums it said to disable developer options and also to delete any files named .nomedia. I've done both of these then restarted my device and am still having same issue. Anyone know whats going on?

There may be several .nomediafiles to delete. Check media and look under music and ringtones etc

Ive got an s6 edge but dont download music from third party sites. All my flac files play perfectly. Perhaps i can replicate this on my phone? Name a problem app and ill have a go

Also GTunes, but i cant even find this app anymore. The other 2 were ones i used most.

I'm quite sure those are illegal, i.e. they're downloading copyrighted music without permission. Quite possibly the sources might have been shut-down by the feds and/or your ISP is blocking them. If you can't find the app, Google might have removed it from Play because of copyright infringement, DMCA enforcement.

Google Music or Amazon Music should work and be available no problems, because those are legal.

This is also a useful site for various legal music options in many countries....including China :thumbsupdroid:
