Root All networks?

Hello I was wondering if i root my x10 will it then be open to all networks? Because phone shops that I have tried will be charging me

No, needs to be unlocked to use other networks sims in it.

I debranded my phone and that seems to have unlocked it for other networks, it is a voda contract phone and i have so far been able to use o2 and 3 sims.
