There are 5 rooting kits that work with the Commando. They are:

UnLockRoot - Works with M20 and M40. May work on M50.

motochopper JB-M40.zip - Works with M40. May work with M50.

Kingo ROOT_M70_M50.zip - Works with M50 and M70.

Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18_M70.7z - Works with M70

Are you sure about Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18_M70.7z? I already bricked one phone.

It was said to work so I added it. I never updated to M70 so I cannot personally test or vouch for it.

Root Genius works on M70 but you get Kinguser and have to deal with that nightmare.

I am inside the area "About Phone" I am deducing that is where you go to determine which edition/build phone one has. I am not seeing directly any of these M #s. I see the software edition:c811M070. Is this mean I have the M70? I also seeM8960A-1.538_c811M070. I think I just might have the M70. Verification please anyone??? Thank you all.
