I definitely think that T9 keyboards are much better than qwerty.
But I tried many keyboards on the G2 and none of them was good to me.
I come from Xperia L and I loved the T9 keyboard of that phone.
I don't know if it only happens to me, but I'll tell you why I'm not happy with stock T9 keyboard and most keyboards I've tried. I'm a teacher of English in Argentina, and me and my friends are always typing both in Spanish AND English, we love to switch between languages, for example, in the same sentence.
In my old Xperia L, I was able to choose my keyboard languages, and it AUTOMATICALLY detected if I was writing a word in Spanish or in English and showed me the alternatives. This doesn't. I HAVE TO SWITCH THE KEYBOARD INTO SPANISH OR INTO ENGLISH everytime I want to write a word in other language. This is annoying.
Please if you know any good T9 keyboard in the stores let me know!
