All the various android map apps

I am new to android and recently got an Orange SF. Thee phone is now rooted and custom ROM applied. I noticed I now have car home, navigation, maps and latitude. They all seem to do the same thing, what should I delete out of the four and can they be replaced with even better apps from the market?

Thanks

I agree that Car Home and Navigation do the same thing: turn-by-turn navigation to a destiny. So I ditched Car Home in favor of Navigation because I like it better. It's got a simpler, yet more informative UI than Car Home. But Maps and Latitude do different things. Maps' navigation is a bit cumbersome, and cannot zoom in very close. I use Maps for general geographical information. Latitude provides your friends with your location, and/or provides you with their location. I don't use Latitude because I don't want people/my 'friends' to track me all the time (that the government does it is already bad enough...!). It's none of people's business where I am (unless we have an appointment, and then they don't need my location on a phone because I'm standing/sitting in front of them!). And I also don't want to know where they are every second of the day. I couldn't care less. If I need them I'll call them. And if they need me they can call me.

But then: I also don't 'Tweet', because I couldn't care less what people are doing or thinking every minute of the day. My own problems are enough to worry about, thank you. And I don't need other people's opinions to form my own opinion (unlike the majority of people...). And v.v. I don't feel like burdening 'followers' with what I am doing or thinking all day long, or my being upset about the higher bread prices, or that I'm relieving myself! How interesting is that...?
