All these people getting the ICS update but nothing in USA?

Whats up with that. Every day I look at these forums and people are getting the updated via checking for one from their Note. But here in the U.S. (AT&T) We seem to still be waiting and waiting... Why are we last on the list to get it. Also why is the Samsung Galaxy S3 (The little sister to the Note).. last to come to the US. We used to be first with everything now we get to go to the back of the bus and sometimes thrown under it... Why?
 
we are never the first to get anything..... thats obvious.. but the ICS update imo sucks. I have an international note im running straight talk on and its not that great, the phone was a lot better before the ICS update. im getting a lot of force closes on random apps while im opening another..

This has been covered to death. ICS is great but some people find the update process leaves their Notes in a less than ideal situation. A reset, for the majority of people, seems to fix any problems and after that the real value of ICS shines through.

As for AT&T Notes - I can only presume that the delay is down to AT&T itself. Anyway - isn't that about the i717 version of the Note? If so the OP should have posted in the appropriate forum.
