Got the Boost Mobile Onetouch Elevate not too long ago and ran into some problems. One of the biggest problems this particular phones is with texting. It tends to resend old texts that are hours or days old. THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM with this phone. I had one time a text message sent over and over again nearly 64 times in one day! The SAME EXACT MESSAGE!
Ive seen several complaints about this problem and Boost itself cant seem to find a way around it. Was wondering if anyone has a fix for this or is it moslty a physical problem rather than an OS problem?
If no solution has been found yet, can I somehow disable the phones texting, and simply give this phone to my poor old non text using mother who needs a smart phone the with the ability to see her bank account using apps? This would only be the useful thing she could use. Texts? Nope she doesnt use texting often and doesnt care for it.
Any ideas?
