Alldroid gone?

I just went to alldroid and the page isn't loading. I then went to droidmod and there is a post there title RIP alldroid. They say the site's account has been canceled. Anybody heard anything about this?:(
 
Now there's a message up when you try to bring up the website:

WHAT DID YOU BREAK? THE SITE IS DOWN AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!

Thanks to the Zeusdroid Team for hosting the refugee camp site (what your looking at)

To stop any rumors:
- we did not get hacked
- we did not get sold
- more to come...as people begin making up more rumors :P

I heard from there that he was leaving. Someone was asking pete where he was going when it happened. More important than ever to tweet pete to get news i guess. :(
 
Don't worry bout Pete, I'm talking with him already. If anyone wants to know the real deal check out birdman's twitter. Bonez officially cancelled the hosting without letting any dev's know and he also took the bounty for the desire/zeusdroid/sense ROM. He is a jerk.
 
...Exactly why I never joined AllDroid:mad:. Hopefully if it comes back it will be run by decent people this time.

20 grand is what he was asking......if I wasn't a staffer on this site I would have some very choice words for him but I will leave it at this.


Dear b9nez,

If you care so much about the Android dev's and community then why not just let someone else have the site who could take care of it? Surely the ad revenue would cover any hosting costs. Why are you holding the server contents hostage? Let the dev's have their stuff back, it's not yours.

Will AllDroid be around any more? YES! Talked to the other Admin and he understands why I did what I did and will be making sure AllDroid and ALL its content will be up with in the next day or two.

So why don't they come over here and offer their services?. I mean this is one of the only android forums on the net that I think might be able to handle the offering....

Exactly! And everyone here I find friendly and very helpful. Only two sites I go to for my android fix, that is here and androidcentral. Whatever was on the other site there would be a link here or at androidcentral.
 
Oh no... you know what happens to sites that start hosting ROM developers. :rolleyes:

I'm just kidding. I think it'd be a great idea to host Pete, he seems to be a really nice guy and his releases have withstood the test of time. :D
