I can stream all my movies on my Epic, but when I try streaming on my Tab 8.9 it says unsupported file? Do I really have to reconvert my entire library?
 
Probably. The Tegra 2 soc has some issues with certain high profile h.264 encoded files. Ironically my EVO 4g can play these files just fine but my 8.9 Tabby chokes on them. I can sometimes play them using moboplayer and some other VLC type players, but oftentimes the allshare app is a no go.
