Hello all.

I am (hopefully!) days away from jumping into the Android world. I've been waiting for an Android phone on my network (Sprint). And the day has finally arrived. I'm a huge supporter of anything Open Source and really, really excited to try out the Android enabled HTC Hero.

Thanks for the great forum and place to do some research before I make the jump. Hopefully I'll be chiming in on helps and ideas very soon! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've already answered some of my questions I couldn't get answered anywhere else.. and all I had to do was search!

I just found out that the Hero is out of stock at Sprint so it may be a few more days before I get mine. Pretty bummed about that but looking forward to interacting with others here.
