already lagging...what to do

I love the phone (hd) but already having lag between screens and such....anyone having the same issues? Maybe time for a fdr? Not planning on rooting so what could i do to speed things up? Custom launcher maybe? What are you guys running?

Here give this a shot, it showed some decent results when people were trying to get to the bottom of the lag.

Go in settings>developer options and check Force GPU rendering. It should help things out.

Failing at that, I've been using Nova Launcher and I never had a problem with lag on it.

Nope, never. Although when I had the Circles Widget on the homescreen there would be a split-second delay when exiting the browser and going to the home screen because this widget was re-loading.

I'm running Nova Launcher. It might be a tad faster than the stock launcher but I never noticed any lag with the stock one.

Try disabling apps you don't care about. For me, that's Google +
