Alright, no more lurking

I'm looking into rooting my lg optimus vm 670zv5, ver 2.2.2, new screen. Because: fun, see if I can do it, and get rid of the bloat. Been reading Android Central and here; but prefer here. I'm a cautious and older guy, so am moving slowly but will make the move soon. Enjoy the reading regardless.
