I am an educator that is developing an online class for teaching appinventor.

I am hoping to connect with other educators and share experiences and best practices.

Looking for suggestions on what hardware requirements I should set for my students. In the beginning, I plan to use the emulator, but realize that students will want to show off their own apps on their smart phone.

2 quick tips:

- AppInventor is being shut down soon, but may be open-sourced

- AppInventor apps cannot be posted to the Android Market, but you can install them on your own phone if you enable debugging in the phone's "applications > development" settings
