Alternative app stores

Hi,

I downloaded and tried some alternatives to Google's Play store - like Appbrain, 1mobile and GetJar.

Any advise or recommendations on more alternative markets? with some actual added value?

Amazon appstore is the only one I recommend. It has a large variety, some unique apps found nowhere else (legally), and a free app each day.

do they have the option to install apps from PC to the phone over the air?

Careful that you find the 'legit' app stores. Pirate stores are getting shut down by the FBI for erm, piracy, viruses, security concerns & other dodgy practices.

all those stores (except Amazon and GetJar) scrape the play store for apps so basically its a copy of the play store - so I don't see the advantage there,
though Amazon is definitely offering some added value ..

opera mobile browser has a app store that is sort of no questions asked, download if you think it will work.

I'm looking for the added value of those stores - seems like other than Amazon, they are all Play store replicas
