I compared features of Triumph and Exhibit II 4G and found that HDMI port is missing in Exhibit II 4G. However, it has FM Radio hardware, 3.0 Bluetooth, and wi-fi Hotspot (T-Mobile official).

*Unlimited -- *First 5GB at up to 4G speeds - after data allotment used, speeds slowed up to 2G speeds (This is pretty much the same as VM)

The phone you speak of is also out of stock @ TMobile

Unsupported Browser <-- their phone coverage

Edit: The forum tried to title my URL. Perhaps they need to set a header for their browser type

Sounds like a nice deal. Only have Edge in my area though....however..I do like the better coverage....

You can get the $50 buck plan as that only offered 100MB's of 4g speed anyway. I'm thinking that's going to be the way to go for me unless VM comes out with a great phone after the first of the year. No 4g speed out in my area unless I'm at work, and I have wifi there, so don't think I'll be using the 4g all that much anyways. Would be nice to have the unlimited minutes for only $10 bucks more a month though!

My whole family recently switched over to T-Mobile (contract). My Mom and Dad both got the Exhibit II 4G. I set it up for them and played with it for a bit. It's a really nice phone. The camera, while claiming to be 3.2 MP, is fantastic; it even has an LED flash which works really well. The color quality of rear-camera pics was better than the Triumph. The FFC takes better pictures than the Triumph as well.

I guess the only "drawback" compared to the Triumph is screen size. However, the 3.7" display is very crisp (it's at the same resolution as the Triumph) and the touchscreen was very responsive. The overall build of the phone is quite sturdy and the texture on the back of the phone felt good in the hands. The phone felt substantive and didn't feel cheap at all.

The one thing I hated was the stupid TouchWiz interface. Furthermore, T-MO packed this phone with so much crap, it was hard to believe the phone never slowed down. I've never seen so much bloatware on an Android phone.

If my family was willing to put me back on their plan, I wouldn't mind giving up the Triumph for the Exhibit. The faster web speeds and decent specs make it very good mid-range phone.

idk: i havent had any luck with samsung phones, the samsung prevail I had for less than one full weekend, locked up all the time, I returned that junk to bestbuy and then bought the triumph.

my old samsung phone was pre android, and it was junk..... samsung phone are blacklisted in my book.

:D

T-Mobile is offering 4G and I did not see any negative reviews on the phone. Everything works as written in Specs. Samsung was bad on their initial Androids. It seems that they cleaned up their act. It is Motorola that became overconfident and is putting out bad models.

:D

I might be switching to this but getting my friends HTC G2 and using that. The G2 has some amazing development on it like Insert Coin Rom (Sense 2.1/3.0) and official Miui Support.

This refreshing to hear, I do plan on trying this out, I see there is a root method but no recovery. I certainly do hope you get this phone, because I know with your skills you could probably get a recovery and some roms. Unfortunately this is almost non existant in the forums. I love what you have done to my triumph with the help of Tickerguy, so much that I probably will keep it instead of sell it.

I live in the northeast and I try out this phone after seen the reviews here. I did not work as expected it was hard to go into the internet on this phone and speed wise the Triumph had better speeds. Also when I was at home and connected to the wifi it did not perform as expected sometimes it did not connect to the internet or took to long, my guess is that there is something wrong with the os, is heavily changed by samsung.

:D

T-Mobile also allows - Bring your own unlocked 4G Smartphone - and use Monthly4G with it. I wonder how other unlocked 4G smartphones are working with Monthly4G plans?
