Always connected to charger, bad idea?

Hello folks,

I got a cheapo tablet, Azpen A701. MicroCenter was giving me for only $20, so got it. Paid $2 for 2 year warranty, should anything break (looks super fragile).

The battery is 3300mAh, and although stated time is ~4 hours, I was considering it hooked up to a charger that will keep charging at super slow rate, like 0.5A or something. The charger of this tablet is 2A.

What do you guys think, is it is bad idea? This tablet will be primarily used for playing music.

Thanks in advance.

I'd use the 2A charger which came with the tablet.
Two reasons:
1. Always connected to to charger means always near fully charged ... on this zone the charging amperage is already low (because the tablet controls the charging amperage to prevent overvoltage on the battery's cells).
2. Sometimes you might run some powerful apps ... that could cause discharing when there only a charger with 0.5A ability.

Note, charging and discharging the battery at the same time might take some of your battery's lifetime ... but do you care? :)
