Help Always On brightness changing

I like the click on the Always On display but the brightness and location of the clock keeps changing. My eyes keep going to the phone thinking some notification has occurred. Any way to keep the brightness dim and clock in one place?

The clock will keep moving to prevent burn in.

Turned it off, not a very useful feature for me atm and it does use too much battery imo.
