Is it better for battery life to not have Always on display on. I dont have it on but I always like to see my notifications when I look at phone but with it off I gotta put phone back on

i have used on my note 8 and saw no issues with battery life. but yeah it will drain it....granted it is a very slow trickle that you will hardly notice it.
