I'm Sure On Ics I Could But Now On This Jelly Bean Crap I Cannot Get A URL Out Of An Email To Paste Into My Dolphin Browser Because The Stupid Default Browser Always Goes To Pathetic Totally Useless Mobile Version Of Sites

Relax, take a deep breath.

I just pasted a long Google Play link on my PC to myself in Gmail, and then checked my Gmail from my phone. I was able to copy the link from Gmail into Dolphin and go to that page on the play store.

What steps are you doing differently than me? We'll try to help you, if you have a bit of patience.

I Am stressed yes.
In my stress I forgot to say my main email is non Gmail, so it's the standard email app that comes on the phone, not gmail.

The default browser in JB is chrome, is it not? All you have to do is select the menu button in the top right and click "request desktop site."

I've tried that, it never makes a difference. The browser must still be reporting as a mobile device and the sites bush dish up the mobile version all the time.
In dolphin I can set user agent to desktop, much better.

Currently, I have 4 browsers installed but none set to default. When I go to anything that needs a browser (link in native email app included), a box with all browsers comes up. If I choose "always," for one, then I no longer get the choice; otherwise, I choose whichever I prefer for the task and also choose "just once." If you choose "always," you might be able to clear that choice by wiping data in settings>apps>?? (what you chose).
