Help Am I Rooted?

Today I ran some code on my phone to change the region from AFR to MID

The phone was wiped then restarted and I setup everything from start again

I do see the CWM and SuperSU icons in my apps, does that mean I'm rooted?

If I am, I don't get it, how come everything was wiped yet I am still rooted? (not complainin', just wonderin')

A factory reset (a complete wipe) will not unroot your phone. Root access is handled at a much deeper (ROM) level than a factory reset will handle.

Same, even more so, applies to cwm.

Factory resets and stuff such as that do not remove root since rooting is not an app. I would go into further detail but im not sure how much i know about it is correct and dont want to pass on wrong information
