Am I the only one who loves AT&T?

Wow, he was allowed to take it? I'm surprised by that. Next time have him leave it in airplane mode.

I've been with AT&T since August 2011 (2 weeks). Before that, I was with Sprint since June 2010. I've been on every other carrier including all the prepaid services at some point in the past decade. I also used Vodafone while studying in England, and use Telus at my summer cottage in Canada. I purchased my first smartphone last year through Sprint, the HTC Hero. It was already a year old but the Evo hadn't been released yet. When I got my current job, I wanted to use the corporate discount. Sprint applied it but also added an extra year to my contract and added a $10.00 "4G Fee" to my line. I didn't have a 4G phone and WiMax wasn't yet deployed in my city. This pissed me off, and along with the fact that I wouldn't be upgrade eligible until April 2012, it encouraged me to look at other options.

After browsing tons of reviews, I decided on the Motorola Atrix 4G. It has been around 2 weeks and I don't regret the decision. The speed, screen size, and form factor are perfect. Since I've had a GSM handset before, I knew that dropped calls would increase due to "hard handoff". I've dropped a few calls so far, but my data speeds have greatly increased. AT&T has much better coverage than Sprint, especially in rural areas. I don't care about unlimited data, since I average around 1.5GB/Month and use Wi-Fi at home. I use AT&T Enterprise customer service, and my experiences thus far have been excellent.

In conclusion, I'm very happy with AT&T at the moment and envision staying with them for many years to come. :D

:), always nice to hear. I've been with them for 3 years now.

I've been with Cingular -> AT&T for over 10 years. With a family (one being a teenage daughter) I could not be happier. Currently have that 1400 Family talk, unlimited family texting with unlimited mobile2mobile (got that text today), unlimited data on 2 lines. While I feel that AT&T is behind the ball on phone options and I disagree with the different rates for smartphones I think for the plans and coverage in my area of the world they are the best option. Last subsidized phone I got for me is branded Cingular (Sony Ericsson w810i), so that was the last time they had a "cutting edge" phone IMO. Wife and daughter are another story, they want phones before they are due a new one so I end up using my upgrade for them before their account is due. Other bonuses for me: having a GSM provider means I can take my phone to Europe and pop in a pre-paid sim there and still use my phone; I can move my sim around among a few phones I have it one dies without bothering them.

In short, if I didn't like the service I would not be with them still.

I use to until I got accused of tethering via an email. Best part is I don't tether. I don't like being accused of something I am not doing prove to me AT&T how you figure I'm doing something I'm not

While I wouldn't say I "love" them, I have been pretty impressed with the customer service I have gotten from them. Last month I cancelled my iPhone because I wanted to go to Verizon and get the Thunderbolt. After realizing how expensive Verizon I decided to go back. I was able to call At&t and not wait on hold forever (which was a common occurance with Verizon) and get it all worked out and fixed. I went and got my $49 Atix upgrade and have been very pleased.

I have alwasy liked my at&t service. Their Atlanta coverage is bar-none. Recently however I traveled to metro Detroit area and the coverage has been much more spoty to say the least. Still i appreciate their customer service and device selection at this point. My bill also doesn't seem to be too ridiculous.

Plus i have unlimited data, so in ways like many people i try to focus on the positive lol.

PAPPABACON! (cool name.. i lUV me some bacon!).. hey, ive also heard that Verizon was much more expensive than AT&T. Also, ive got family and friends in southern Cal who had been having some very spotty services last two months.. Have you noticed this and/or have you noticed better services of late? Curious if the coverage got better more recently?
