(It's OK - I found the solution to my issue on another forum. Thanks anyway.)
Even if I am, maybe someone with a similar model can help me.
I downloaded some notification sounds from Zedge. They show up in my phone's list under "Notification Sound" along with all the other HTC ones. I can select any of the Zedge ones and they play fine as a preview, but they don't seem to "take" when I set them as the notification sound I want to use. When I get a text I just hear the last pre-loaded HTC one I used, even though in "Notification Sound" it still shows the Zedge one I've selected.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea how to make it work? I don't like any of the new HTC ones and it's annoying that you can't select your own from Music like you can with ringtones and alarms.
