Amazing Battery performance

I have had the Skyrocket for over 1 week and the battery has not been very good. I would see about 50% life left before 12:00. I am an above average user pushing 3 gmail accounts, reading news, using GPS , and a phone call every 10 minutes or so. The battery would be about dead before 3 PM so about 8 hours. Some days 6 hours of use.

Today I really thought my battery meter was broke, still right now while I write this my battery meter is 100%. I cant explain it. I have been using my phone all day over 12 hours. I used GPS for 45 minutes. wifi on all day although less then 1 hour of internet use. BUt I would read news occasionally and made and received 47 calls. 15 text messages. over 100 hundred pushed emails.

How the hell is my battery still at 100%?? with no signs of it moving at all?? I am starting to think it is charging itself

I will say this one thing though that I did different. last night I used a different wall charger. It was from my platronics bluetooth ear peice. Specifically it is the P/N:77394-04
5.0 V
350ma

Turn your phone off and back on. Its not actually still at 100%. There have been a couple threads about this.

It probably is due to using the different charger. It varies based on the charger used (I've used: iPhone/Apple charger, Samsung charger, and an HP Touchpad charger) without issue except 1 time (I can't recall which it was). Several people have noted that it happened to them using an Apple charger.

If ONLY the battery life really was this good.

rain on my parade. I'm not gonna turn it off and im gonna ride this out to the end.
Im waiting for the low battery beeps and will report back in a few hours. Does it ever go low or will it just turn off eventually?

This happened to me the other day also, 100% all day to my surprise..then suddenly it shuts off out of nowhere mid-use. I tried turning it back on and it wouldn't. I started freaking out thinking it had died permanently until I just tried plugging it in, and bam..charging up from 0%.
