Amazon App Store Question

Hey everyone, quick question. I like to go to the Amazon App store for the free app of the day every morning, and typically, will always purchase the app if I am remotely interested in it, so that I can install it later if I want. The problem is that I can't find a way to "purchase" the free app without immediately clicking "download" as well. My device has a small amount of internal memory, and the Amazon App Store app is over 66 MB on my phone.

Does anyone know of a way to "purchase" the free app of the day, so that it is added to my amazon account and can be downloaded and installed at a later time, without making it take up additional space on my phone at the time I purchase it? Thanks.

Next order of business, any thoughts on how to reduce the current size of my amazon app store down from 66 MB? Is the only solution to uninstall, then reinstall it? And if I do, will it break any installed apps I've gotten from the store? Thanks.
 
you can clear cache and data (which would require you to log back in). Or you can uninstall and reinstall it. it won't affect the apps unless you don't reinstall it since the apps need it to run.
 
I was able to go into my application manager and just click "clear data", and that seemed to take care of it. Thanks for everyone's help with this.
