Amazon Fire Phone has Shipped... arriving Thursday!

I just got an e-mail update from amazon saying that my 32GB AT&T Amazon Fire Phone has shipped and will be delivered on Thursday, July 24th by 8PM! Anyone else get this? What's the earliest ship date?

Is it as bad as the reviews I've read already? Bulky, heavy, & gimmicky? I think Amazon would do better embracing Android instead of trying to leach off it with a forked version.
