America vs Canada Mobileplans

If you go to Canada you could better take your American plan. Mobile data in Canada is.. read it here. But why are it in Canada so extremly expensive?

I can understand the people they simply use their USplan in Canada because the prices. Ok and in Germany I also would use my USplan. Well in Newzealand mobile data is the same overpriced.

how is the competition? i mean are their many providers in canada that can compete with one another to help drive the prices down?

Well I don't use a Canadian provider because of the prices. I use free because it is a very cheap travel sim I get for just 30 dollars unlimited calls and texts and 25 GB of data.
