I just got this box. It is running Gingerbread 2.3.4 and came pretty much barebone. It is able to handle most of the HD movies I threw it.
The stock Market is crippled and all attempts by myself to replace it with the latest 3.3.11 has failed. Market comes up, but lots of applications were missing. The unit cannot be rooted with Z4Root or Gingerbreak. The unit cannot hard reset either.
I have had a hard time trying to get the firmware from the non-existent tech support at AmexDigital. Makes me wonder if anyone actually bothers to read email there.
Any idea if the Geniatech firmware can be used on this box?
