Amlinux

Linux is an operating system. Kodi is an application.
You might ask at the kodi forums, giving more details about your box.
 
XBMC is what Kodi used to be known as, so you probably got an old version on there. I think "AMLINUX" is some Russian, Linux kernel based OS.
Looks like builds various devices, and .ru is Russia.

How you can put Android and updated Kodi on there, have no idea. And you probably can't, not unless it was specifically built for this particular device.
