Help AMOLED

From here:
What is "AMOLED"?
AMOLED, which stands for Active Matrix OLED, is a hybrid display technology that pairs the active matrix backplane from a traditional TFT display with an OLED display. As a result of their active matrix natures, AMOLED displays have faster pixel switching response times than do traditional OLED displays, which are prone to ghosting when displaying fast moving animations.

Also known as: "Active Matrix OLED"

Personally, I can't tell a difference, but my eyes are old :p
Much less understand all the vocabulary describing it :D

One or the other doesn't really matter I guess, I'm perfectly happy with the screen on my almost four year old S3. Unless I'm holding up a newer model with my phone in a live, side-by-side comparison, my old eye balls can't determine any difference anyway.

Amoled can use less power, especially with dark Themed apps. Amoled is susceptible to permanent burnin of images that are always present (like on screen nav button area, status bar area)...although it rarely becomes noticeable for most people.
