Hope this is the place for this, have seen CW custom restoral but not Amon Ra as available for the Nexus 7.

Searching returned no info here, doe anyone know if AR is available yet?

Never like CW much.

I think the devs are still working on a CWM recovery right now.

I'd never heard of Amon Ra until you posted. :o

I used AmonRa recovery on my LG Ally and DInc. It was my favorite recovery back then and I would love it if it came to the Gnex and the Nexus 7. I contacted getitnowmarketing, the dev of AmanRa for the aforementioned devices if he could make a recovery for the GNex and he asked me a question I couldn't answer.

His handle on xda is Drellisde. Contact him if you want a chance at the recovery. I would be happy:D

Yeah, that's why I asked. Have Amon Ra on my Rezound and works perfectly, while I had many problems with CWM recovery on that device. Note I said THAT device.

It did not have the same issues on other devices. I would just prefer to stick with Amon Ra if possible for my custom recovery.

I will ping him and try to answer the question.

Thanks

Wow, too bad if not. Amon Ra was much smoother that CWM, IMO. Even the touch screen worked on my Rezound, and the nanadroid backups eliminated the need for titanium backup for me.

Hope he reads this and knows how much he's needed, LOL.
