Amplifier app?

Hi all

I started listening to LastFM via Tunewiki. Works mostly very well for me, but I found that output volume to 2.5mm jack is rather low. I have to keep volume full power up on the phone and crank it up high on car stereo too. I listen on headunit via auxiliary input.

Is there an app that will improve audio output for ANY audio that is going out through 2.5mm jack? Like an amp or something. I have it twicked in Media Player equalizer, but it does not appear to have any influence on radio station volume output.

ok, it's cute, but it does not appear to be doing anything for streaming. I'll ask at their website, maybe it's just settings question.

Power amp is only for music played from you phone, ie mp3 files. I've searched for some kind of amplifier/equalizer for the last month and I keep coming up with the same answer: there is none. This is even an app I would pay for.

edit: Seem like there are a couple but I'm not sure if they work for streaming music. Plus you must have android 2.3 on your phone.

If you get 2.3 on your phone, which is supposed to be coming soon, you may find you don't need the app. Perhaps your answer is to be paitient for another couple of weeks??

I have Gummy as of 4-5 days, but it's irrelevant. Found app that works. Voodoo controls. It does very much boost output volume. Normally, I'd listen to a station with media volume at 100% phone, and 25-27 car stereo, and I have very good quality JBL with amp.
Now, I had to knock it down to about 15 on stereo and 75% on phone. It's still roaring.
Voodoo turns on the very moment you plug headphones or aux cable in.
The only awkward thing is you have to adjust volume output (slider) every time you turn music on. I already placed question at xda how to fix this.

ok, they told me to check "map the volume keys" and it should control boost right off phone volume control. will check it out tomorrow on the way to work.

developer says it has to be 2 and above OS, GB or Froyo. I have Gummycharge.

and VC still needs to be manually adjusted on volume. but it's OK, it does kick a.. on volume.

Hide It Pro....Great two fold app. It gives you the ability to hide things on your phone, it shows up as an audio manager app. And it actually works as such.

And yes it works for streaming.
