Help An Android Start Guide?

Hi all, I just got a new Droid 2 Global.

Can anyone recommend something like a, 'noob's guide to android' or give me advice what to do first...

I've read around different sites and learned like:

updating the voice codec on your phone
battery tips
etc...

Is there anything I should not do or look out for??

Also, don't forget that long pressing on some things brings up new menus, (try it on everything, never know what you might find), and that you can often press the menu button (the leftmost of the 4 capacitive buttons at the bottom of your screen) for secondary menus, and that they sometimes change as you change screens.
