Diving deeper into LeEco's EcoPass content platform, it's been found that LeEco's streaming service isn't quite as compelling as they made it out to be. Early analysis shows that a bulk of the service's best content is either offered for free at other sources or easily attainable via the content creators' own respective apps and channels.
Furthermore, the app itself is limiting as you can only beam content to a TV if you have a LeEco TV.
