And It's Final!!!

The debate wasn't about tethering it was about speed test if u do tether then good for u and if u don't good for u too my main point was not to tether and complain about speeds. Also keep in mind ur doing something your carrier don't want u to do.

If they do not want us to do it why give it to us built into the phone?

Metro will allow u to tether for $10 more. But it's samsung's fault for on ics for having that function so accessible. Noticed on jb there's only one tethering app and it's metro's ;) they learned after ics but still there's the Treve mod tethering app that u can install on a rooted phone and still use that.

Watch a YouTube video on my 4G? Am I dreaming? I never thought that'd be possible! But yeah I really need faster speeds cause I can barely make Tapatalk load this forum! It's terrible

Well, I'm stayin with a quote I made a few days ago. I'm expecting to see improvements by july. Metro's web site says that we should be seeing improvements later this year. Keep your fingers crossed

well for me and mikey that were used to just seeing 3-4mbps we are now seeing 8-12mbps so no complaints here.

I haven't seen any difference here in North Jersey. I rarely see speeds under 3mbps and often get more than 5mbps. More than fast enough for me to stream Netflix and Youtube I've never had any issues with Metros 4g and I've been with them since the day the Indulge debuted. TMo has started upgrading here but its not live yet. People are saying June.

A fountain pen forum I'm in has an interactive map for members to put their "push pen" into.

That'd REALLY be cool for us with a short line to abbreviate your approximate speeds like 2-4 M etc; so that you could mouse over the pin and see what others around the country were getting.

Just a thought out loud.

Interestingly enough, that forum is running the same software, vBulletin as AF.

It IS a pinned thread there, which an Admin would need to do here but all it appears to be is a Google map of the U.S. that registered forum users can add their pin and a small amount of text for.

Sorry, I don't know how to do that or I would. :o
