Andoid device can communicate with ad-hoc device using andoid P2P API based app

Hi,

Can I create app using wifi P2P APIs to communicate with adhoc configured device ?

It mean I have one device running as ad-hoc mode and I want to communicate using android application in which I can use wifi p2p Api.
