Root Andorid 2.2 Root?

I wanted to know if anyone knew how to root the phone to Android 2.2? If so where can I go to read how to do this?

First, you don't root "to" anything. Root access to the OS gives the user the ability to customize the device beyond what the manufacturer and provider intended. 2.2 isn't out for the Intercept (yet) and I'm unaware of any 2.2 roms floating around. Patience!
