Just picked up a HTC Desire HD for a bargain price... it's my first android device as I've been using my old SE P990i for over 4yrs now and that finally crapped out on me recently.
So consider me an android noob, but not a tech one... already thinking that I might root the device and upgrade the OS as it's only 2.2 and I'll definitely want to get rid of any branding (although it's sim unlocked).
Must admit I don't have a clue yet... but people are recommending cyanogenmod 7.1 so far.
Will have a browse around and read some topics and see what I can find.
