my kobo has been saying "the application Launcher(process com.android. launcher)has stopped unexpectedly.Please try again
 
I don't know why this would be happening, but the following steps should fix it:
1. Go into Settings > Manage apps, and select the launcher app from the scrolling list
2. Press "Clear cache" folowed by "Clear data"
3. Reboot
