Android 12 gallery

Is there an easy way to reorganise albums in the gallery? Mine seem random and not very ergonomic, and even just an option for alphabetically would help.
I do also have both sd and internal storage..

also i would recommend that you make sure that you use google photos as well. if you set it, it will always update your photos to the cloud when you are connected to wifi. this way you have your photos saved somewhere other than your phone. if your phone were to get stolen or break, you can always log into google photos on any device like a computer and be able to get access to your most current photos.

you can't really organize it a certain way, but it is setup by date. you can create albums to group your photos and have it organized that way.

i just like the fact that i never have to worry about my photos again. it is always backed and very easy to either download or view.
 
What model of phone? The stock gallery on a Samsung will be different from say that on a OnePlus which will be different from that on a Pixel (which will use Google Photos as the stock gallery).

The Albums view in my s21's stock (i.e. Samsung) Gallery seems to put the 3 most recently modified folders across the top and then list the rest alphabetically. But there is a "sort" option in the context (3 dots) menu when you are viewing the albums page. In F-stop (my usual album) you press a different icon when viewing folders to get sort options {a stack of bars that get wider towards the top). If there is a way of sorting these in Google Photos I've yet to find it - as they add extra steps to even get to that view I doubt it's a priority for them.
