Android 2.1 tablet factory rest

bought a new MID X5A tablet and wanted to delete my account and couldn't do it the way the software was telling me to do it and found post of other people having the same problem. I found out how to do it with out reloading it. witch I don't have any clue how to do. I came upon this out of frustration. So I wanted to post this to help other people.

this is how it goes

factory reset

power on wait for green guy to go away, when bird in corner appears press and hold the house button, a pic will appear in the middle, press the enter return button ( on mine its a arrow pointing left below the house), a menu will appear on the left, to move down the menu you press the return arrow (this will take you back to the pic) but press it again and you will be back to the menu again but one line down keep doing this tell you get to factory rest, then when it's high lighted press the M button to select it, don't quite remember what comes up next but use this method to do the next question, the last menu will come up with a bunch of no's and a yes get down to it and select it and your done back to when you took it out of the box.;)

I have the same problem that when i switch ON a green bird come on the left hand side and nothing happen after that. i have tried all the things but no go
please help me to get it work,i love this a lot but now its not working.
 
Factory Data Reset via Software Menus.

This process will erase all of your personal information, all stored contacts and any programs you have installed on your tablet.


1. From the Apps menu, tap on Settings, and then tap Privacy.
2. Tap on Factory Data Reset, and then Reset Tablet.
3. Tap Erase Everything to format your tablet back to factory default configuration.
 
Hardware Reset
If your tablet fails to respond when buttons are pressed or when the screen is tapped, you may have to perform a hardware reset to restore functionality. To do this, use a small, thin object, like a paperclip, to press the recessed reset button on the tablet, it looks like a tiny hole.
This process will erase all of your personal information, all stored contacts and any programs you have installed on your tablet.

Hi, i have exactly the same problem that when i switch on i get the bird but it then flashes android on the left of the screen then goes out and nothing responds. I tried doing the reset button with a pin but still nothing. Hoping somebody can help. I purchased this cheaply in this condition with all the leads but no instructions.
