Help Android 2.1 to Android 2.2

How do i upgrade from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2 in my Samsung Galaxy 3 phone ?

It has to be updated using Samsung's own Kies software. Install Kies from Samsung's website, get your phone hooked up and recognized by your PC (may not be a straight forward process), then update to Froyo. However, my phone is not tied to a carrier in any way, it may be different in those circumstances. I don't know. Perhaps someone else can answer that for you.

Where can you find the 2.2 release? I haven't seen the 2.2 release out yet. Please provide some more info.

Just wait a little more for the official update wichI hope will still be in December.

Last I heard Samsung were saying end of Q1 2011 for 2.2 update for Apollo.

Yes, Dutch Samsung is now saying Froyo for April 2011. Patience.
