When or if it comes out and how it will be delivered is up to Virgin Mobile. I would guess it will be over the air. It's conceivable that someone may adapt the Sprint 2.2 release to a VM rom, but that will require rooting the phone. This would be a good place to look out for that sort of thing.

It came out today, after unplugging my charger this morning it said there was an update avaible for my phone. Took about ten minutes.

I hope they can get this for vm! I heard this let's you move apps to the sd card,right? That's all I want haha
Me too...Seems silly to have over 4gb spare on my SD card while the phone's memory is almost full.
i first rec'd msg of the udpate while on a call in a very bad coverage area so i selected 'update later'
well, 2 1/2 days later, it hasn't prompted me again to update....what gives? i've rebooted a few times as well....
should i try the manual way posted on various websites??

Why? All he has to do is put the update.zip at the root of the sd card and run it from recovery mode. Provided he's not rooted, it's foolproof & only takes a minute. If he is rooted, the OTA update's gonna fail anyway.
