Help Android 2.2 - Screen flashes on and off continuously.

Just migrated Galaxy S to Android 2.2. Screen flashes on and off every three seconds when on the home screen in idle mode. Anyone else see this problem?

Looks like flashing the phone has worked for some. I'd take it to a corporate store and have them do it if you're not comfortable.

Powered off.
Took battery out.
Put battery back.
Powered on.

Problem solved...... for now.

The FAQ recommends a hard reset after an OS upgrade. That will be the next option if the problem reoccurs.
