Android Question

I have a Chinese Android tablet, (Model #-DISCO10 Android-2.2 Kernel-2.6.32.9 Build #-FRF85B) and it will not let me remove my gmail account because it needs it for certain apps, but I have deleted all of my apps.
It said to go under privacy settings and reset to factory defaults but on my tablet settings there is no privacy setting. I have tried many things to reset it such as pressing the pinhole at the bottom, holding the volume keys and the power button, the home button and the power button, but nothing has worked.
The pinhole just shuts the tablet down, the volume and power just turns it on, and the same happens for the home and power button. I want to reset my tablet to factory settings because I am planning to give it away, or just throw it away, but I must reset it first.
Please help!
