also, wifi never wakes up when atv-108 is brought out of sleep mode. i tried to change to always on, but it didn't correct it. only a restart helps.

Which Flash version you use? Downloaded from market or the one I posted here (i belive it was this thread)?
About YouTube, have to admit, I never tried it before reading your post... it sure does crash. If you have txt logcat, send it to me. Right now I'm reading it on my box... sems I'm lack of some libs... I will for sure solve this issue, but for netflix send me some more info, logcat...
Now I'm working on UI for samba, that and YouTube should be done today. Will investigate wifi issues.

) is related to Live Wallpapers... Live Wallpapers are currently not installed on the system, but youtube app uses some libs from live wallpapers package.. you get the point, will include live wallpapers in next build and problem should be solved.My mistake...

and i think its your init entry thats making samba weird out...when smbd is called, it carries out what is said in the init.rc so, you have samba declared, then it disables, then it checks for BOOTCOMPLETE, then it starts...but then again, you could be right and ICS just puts the service to sleep...speaking of sleep, any luck with adding sleep timer function back into ROM?
It's on my todo list, but be patient...

i use flash 10.2.157.51. its a package from my zenithink c71 tablet with ICS 4.0.3. it uses the 8726M3 tho and not the m1. but it works great! netflix worked great on vissons rom except for the mediaplayerservice disconnect every 5 minutes. that would stop the stream. then i gotta hit back, reselect the movie im watching, and it starts again fine. 5 minutes later, boom, same thing, disconnect. i'll collect logs of various issues and crashes and post em up on pastebin or sendpace..

It is free, you need to be company, not the private person to be their partner. And to become their partner you have to be very persistent, it takes time. Especially for me, since I'm not buying any hardware from them, I'm developing customized software for product based on their hardware and produced by Visson.
So, basically, all I'm doing for ATV-108 will become commercial product at one point in time. Hope very soon.

i also noticed yer clockin the cpu at 750mhz...does it not work at 800mhz like vissons firmware? i mean, 50mhz is 50mhz...and i just bought some heatsinks from amazon because my atv-108's have no coolers on the procs! many issues coming up from overheating...so i got these...

My gingerbread release runs at 900 MHz w/o any problems or extra coolers. It's very tricky to change cpu freq because I don't have kernel sources (which work with ICS) for c03ref... changing cpu freqs in init.rc will not work 'cause of kernel limitation.

so heres a question...why doesnt this thing support Xvid codec? and how does one add a codec? i see audio codecs, but video seems to be declared in the build.prop.

ok, so xvid works sortof on gingerbread...its very choppy and bad. if you use mxplayer and use hardware decode mode, its bad. switch to software decode and its fine. no hardware decode on yer Rom stane1983. software decode on mxplayer works in 4.0.3 tho, so its a problem that can be worked around. so i guess codecs get set and compiled by you into the amlogic video player..is that right?

so im collecting a log for you right now of netflix not working properly...but i noticed in logcat many many messages about my mouse sending out invalid action. that wasn't happening in vissons firmware. you'll see what i mean.

my copy of ftpdroid also wont work where it did before. ill get you logs of all this. the ftp service just crashes right out.

netflix wouldnt show video or audio..would buffer and try to play but with black screen. i tried 3 times to play. sorry for the tons of invalid motion actions in the log. they are coming from my ipazzport airmouse any time i use the gyro in it. i left em cos maybe you wanted to see that as well.

You can install my firmware on your device. Use tutorial I posted in this thread.
That's correct. I'll review your logcats and solve issues asap. About xvid, will see what can be done, just downloaded one

You must give me more details. I didn't test it, but my colleague tested that for me and he said that Xvid decoding is working fine.
