Android 2.3 (Honeycomb)

I doubt it.Not because it isn't possible, but because Samsung don't really bother to give you an upgrade after you have paid for a product.

But I hope I am wrong.

I hope you're wrong too, but i don't think you are. I think it's going to be up to devs to get us honeycomb.

Spacemoose is working on the next version, possible with a beta tag. Im just going to wait for that.

My gb update keeps pn failing... maybe its coz I bypasses activation (didn't want the punks at vzw to get a 20bucks for nothing)... checked out the hc update, but it looks like a lpt of thongs are not working yet

With the new version of Honeycomb (Android 3.2) having support of 7" sceens and Qualcomm's processors, do you think that the original Galaxy Tab will get Honeycomb?

Android 3.2 Detailed: Supports 7-inch Displays, Qualcomm CPUs

Who told you that? Everywhere I've read it says Google's license for Honeycomb stipulates that it is a separate license and those with the 7inch tablet will NOT be able to upgrade. You have t buy a whole new tablet to get the new OS. Yeh right....throw more good money after bad? No thanks. And who wants to drag arounda 10inch tablet anyway? I liked the smaller size but if this is how they're going to treat those of us who bought the smaller tablet a long time ago, we'll just let the kids play with this one until it dies and then we're done with buying anything Google/Android related.
